TH was so close yet so far from being crowned the champions of IHG tennis, bringing home TH’s very first champions title. However, as things turned out, it took the caliber of KR to stop us in our tracks, trouncing us 3-0 in the finals. This was not a happy ending for graduating seniors like Zeng Zhan, Guo An and Zhi Hao because this is the second time we have came this close to winning it.

It seems SH’s sheer spirit wasn’t enough to stop TH from steamrolling them to a 4-1 defeat in the semis. The format of the semis matches was the same as the prelims except that each match was a best of 3 sets and TH bagged everything, losing only one singles match. Read more…
