Temasek Hall Dance will be having a second auditions to recruit up and coming dancers for our annual Dance Productions concert next year. It is the biggest event of TH Dance and a platform to polish your dancing abilities! Those who are interested, do take note of the details of the audition below:

Day: Wednesday

Time: 8PM

Venue: MFR

Attire: Covered shoes, pants, shirt (No FBTs)

I’m sure you are aware that TH is embarking on the Interhall Green Competition. However, the electricity usage this year has risen significantly as compared to the previous year, as you would have noticed from the posters placed around the hall.
Therefore, the Hall as a whole would like to seek your greatest cooperation on the following matters.
Together we can aim to lower the electricity consumption in order to win the competition!

I am going to organize a gym training for track members. However, this session is open to all the sportsmen or sportswomen in TH. So if you want to know how gym training can make you run faster, jump higher or be more agile, come down to our hall gym on Thursday (12th November 2009) at 9:30pm. I know it is very near to your exams, but I promise you that this session will only last at most one and half hours and your mugging will be more productive after that

To kickstart our IHG trainings, the JCRC is organizing a mass run, themed “Temasek In Cadence” on this coming Monday, 9th November 2009. We will be running the IHG X-Campus route which is slightly under 3km. Free Sports towels and refreshments will be provided for all participants in the communal hall. So take a breather and join your friends as we take our first step towards our IHG goal.

One of the resident room’s fan internal switch has been found to be burnt due to keeping it on non-stop for many days.
This pose as a safety threat and warning, as Mr Wee, the maintenance administrator has addressed the issue that it can actually cause a fire and burnt down the room.
So for your own safety as well as to conserve energy, please switch off your lights and fans when you leave the room.
You don’t want to return to see everything burnt down!

It is the time of the year where exams are around the corner. As such, the 22nd JCRC have set this month’s theme to be “Study hard…Play harder…later!!”. We hope all residents in TH will put in their very best during this period in your revisions and exams and most importantly, do well!

In addition, the 22nd JCRC would hope that all of you can maintain this momentum after your exams end for the upcoming december holidays IHG training! Train hard during the holidays and play harder for TH in IHG0910 =)

Meanwhile, in this month, do look forward to our upcoming Pre-IHG event, our very own first TH Cadence Run to ignite the IHG spirit within you. Do stay tune for more updates before plunging into your lecture notes and textbooks.
